Rajganj, 11th January: The Rajganj police detained a stone-laden truck, on Monday night. Two people identified as Narayan Chakraborty (48) and Mohammad Adut (25) were arrested in the incident. They are residents of South Dinajpur and Kisanganj.
According to police sources, the Rajganj police, on Monday night, seized two stone-laden trucks while patrolling in the Fatapukur area of Siliguri-Jalpaiguri National Highway. The two were arrested as they failed to produce any valid documents of the boulders.
The duo was sent to Jalpaiguri court on Tuesday. Police have started an investigation into the whole incident.
