Rajganj, 29th August: The 29-day-old baby girl of Nripen Das, a daily wager and a resident of the Saheb Bari village area under Shikarpur gram panchayat of Rajganj, has been suffering from a complex disease since birth.
Reportedly, the baby girl was born on August 01. However, her spine is twisted and has taken the shape of the English alphabet ‘U’.
Meanwhile, no treatment is available for the rare disease in North Bengal Medical College and Hospital. The doctors advised treating the child in Kolkata’s private hospital, which requires a minimum of 2 lakh rupees.
With very little source of income, the family is in a helpless situation and therefore, desperately pleaded for help to save their child.
