Sukhia Pokhari/Darjeeling, 10th May: The road of Pokhrebong Bazaar Mandir Line resembles a river with water flowing from all directions during the rainy season. Locals blame the lack of a proper drainage system in the area for the cause.
They say that the general public, especially students, the ailing, senior citizens, are facing inconvenience while commuting. Locals fear the strong possibility of major accidents taking place in the future if the drainage of water from various places and guest houses is not looked into in time.
