Protest in Bagdogra over suspension of five BJP MLAs from WB Legislative Assembly

Bagdogra, 29th March: BJP staged a protest in Bagdogra opposing the suspension of five BJP MLAs from the West Bengal Legislative Assembly for their alleged unruly conduct in the House.


On Tuesday, BJP leaders and supporters, under the leadership of Matigara-Naxalbari MLA Anandamoy Barman, staged a protest in front of the Bagdogra police station. The party workers and supporters started chanting slogans against TMC for harassing the BJP MLAs.

Anandamoy Barman said that the MLAs in the assembly are not safe during the Trinamool government. The law and order situation in the state has broken. He demanded the issuance of section 357 in the state.
