Kharibari, 14th January: A programme was organized at the Ullahjot Primary School under the Binnabari Panchayat of the Kharibari block for being conferred with the Jamini Roy Award for the first time in the Siliguri Education District.
On this occasion, the Sabhadipati of the Siliguri Sub-divisional Council Tapas Sarkar, Badal Chandra Sarkar, the President of the Kharibari Panchayat Samiti, BDO Yogesh Chandra Mandal, SI Sadhan Biswas, and many others were present. The guests, present in the programme, congratulated the school management on receiving the Jamini Roy Award. A tribal dance and cultural programme were also organized on this occasion.
