Siliguri, 15th December: The Pradhan Nagar police arrested six members of a robbers’ gang, on Wednesday. The arrested accused have been identified as Deepak Roy (20), Roshan Lama (19), Sadhin Roy (19), Ajay Oraon (19), Sikash Oraon (19), and Rakesh Mandal. All are residents of Siliguri.
According to police sources, several miscreants had gathered for the purpose of robbery. Upon receiving the news, the police conducted an operation and arrested the six men. Several sharp weapons were recovered from their possession. They were produced in Siliguri court today.
