Siliguri, 31st March: Pradhan Nagar police arrested a youth on charges of burglary. Stolen items have also been recovered from his possession. The arrested accused has been identified as Guddu Mahato (24), a resident of the Samar Nagar area.
It has been learned that a burglary took place at a Kali Mandir in Debidanga on March 16. A complaint was lodged at the Pradhannagar police station the day after the incident. Police launched an investigation and arrested Guddu Mahato from Debidanga. The arrested individual was produced in Siliguri court today.
