Rajganj, 07th April: The polling process through postal ballot commenced in the Rajganj region, on Wednesday. This facility has been provided to elderly citizen and differently-abled people.
It is to be noted, BDO office has entrusted polling staff with the necessary voting material and the polling staff are working under the supervision of central forces.
According to administration sources, elders and differently-abled voters of the Rajganj assembly constituency had earlier appealed to cast their votes through postal ballot. Following the instructions of the Election Commission, the polling personnel are visiting the houses of the said voters and taking their votes.
It is to be noted, 1243 voters will vote through the postal ballot. Polling through the postal ballot will end on April 11.
