Rajganj, 17th November: A Rajganj police officer’s car met with an accident, on Tuesday night. The driver who was alone inside the car managed to save himself.
Witnesses said that the police vehicle collided head-on with a truck on its way to Rajganj Bazar from Panikauri more at 9:10 pm on Tuesday. The car overturned following which, the truck fled away from the scene.
According to Rajganj police sources, the truck was speeding towards Rajganj Bazar and rammed into the police vehicle. The driver Taher Ali managed to save himself. Shortly after the incident, the police recovered the car and took it to the police station.
