Siliguri, 03rd November: Siliguri police recovered sound crackers worth lakhs and arrested two businessmen in the incident. The arrested have been identified as Haradhan Ghosh and Aman Kumar Singh.
Acting on a tip-off, the police raided the Jyotinagar area of Ward No. 04 and recovered firecrackers worth lakhs. The duo was arrested on charges of illegally storing banned fireworks. The estimated market value of the recovered firecrackers is said to be around lakhs of rupees.
