Siliguri, 01st December: In a recent development, the cops of Pradhan Nagar police station recovered the stolen laptop in connection with the arrest of the three individuals involved in the incident.
According to reports, the police arrested accused Babu Sona Sarkar, Sanjay Mahali and Umesh Chhetri in connection to the theft in a vacant residence in Devidanga’s Babubasa on November 27. The miscreants allegedly made off with a laptop from the residence.
Following this, on November 28, the homeowner returned, learned about the theft and filed a formal complaint at the Pradhan Nagar police station.
Subsequently, the police initiated an investigation and arrested the miscreants. On Friday, the arrested accused were produced before Siliguri Court for legal proceedings. Following further investigation into the incident, the police also recovered the stolen laptop.
