Siliguri, 05th March: An illegal LPG gas cylinder refilling operation was uncovered in a house in Haider Para area of Ward No. 39 in Siliguri. During a police raid, one person was arrested, and 29 gas cylinders were recovered. The arrested individual has been identified as Krishna Sarkar.
According to reports, the accused had been illegally refilling gas cylinders for a long time. Upon receiving information, Bhakti Nagar police station conducted a raid at the house, seizing 29 gas cylinders of various sizes. The accused was taken into custody.
The Bhakti Nagar police have launched an investigation into the incident.
