Siliguri, 19th March: Sensation prevailed after a Police officer was accused of beating an individual in Siliguri.
It was reported that the individual was involved in a dispute with a Police officer in front of Gate No 2 at the Siliguri Kanchenjunga Stadium, on Thursday. It has been alleged that the Police officer attacked the man and severely injured him.
Upon receiving the news of the incident, a Police force reached the spot, rescued the injured person and rushed him to the Siliguri District Hospital. However, the reason for the incident has not yet been determined.
