Siliguri, 15th May: Two men charged with robbery have been arrested by the Panitanki outpost police. The arrested accused have been identified as Chottu and Sahil.
As per the reports, a burglary took place at the residence of Binod Gupta in the Siliguri Punjabi para area. The thieves had fled away with 4 lakh rupees cash from the house.
Following this, the police immediately launched an operation and arrested both the accused from the Fatapukur area. Around 2 lakh rupees were recovered from their possession. A motorcycle has also been seized by the police.
The arrested were produced before the Siliguri Sub-divisional court on Friday.
