Siliguri, 17th September: The Darjeeling District Congress and Yuva Congress celebrated ‘Unemployment Day’ on PM Narendra Modi’s birthday.
The members of Congress took out a rally from the Congress party office and staged a sit-in protest near Gandhi statue against the rise in unemployment. The leaders and workers of the party condemned the consistent rise in the prices of daily necessities, unemployment, and privatization of government institutions.
