PM Narendra Modi’s image found defaced in Siliguri’s Ward No. 16

Siliguri, 02nd April: Allegations have surfaced regarding the tearing down of the Bhartiya Janta Party’s (BJP) flex poster in several places of Siliguri as well as distorting the image of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Shankar Ghosh, the Siliguri assembly BJP candidate, highly condemned the incident and maintained that the party will inform the election observer concerning the incident.

Reportedly, the banner of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Ward No. 16 was distorted with sand and clay. Shankar Ghosh, upon noticing it this morning, immediately wiped the banner himself.

Shankar Ghosh highly condemned the incident and demanded an investigation with the help of CCTV footage of the area. “The culprits must be identified soon and strict action should be taken against them,” Ghosh asserted.

On the other hand, posters installed in support of the party candidates have been removed in several places of Ward No. 21 also. Allegedly, the party’s flags have also been thrown into the sewers.
