Birpara, 12th March: A pick-up van and illegal wood have been seized from the Bandapani area, in a joint operation conducted by the Dalgaon Range, Bandapani BIT, Police and SSB. However, all the smugglers somehow managed to flee the scene.
Ranger Dorjee Sherpa of Dalgaon Range informed that the Forest Department has been on alert to protect the forest and stop the smuggling. He further stated that many such campaigns will be launched continuously.
