Bagdogra, 27th March: A person lost his life after being hit by a bus while crossing the road. The deceased has been identified as Mahabir Minj. The incident surfaced from NH-31 in front of Bagdogra Airport.
It has been learned that the incident occurred when a speeding bus from Ghoshpukur to Siliguri hit him. Locals staged a road blockade after the incident. Later, Bagdogra Traffic reached the traffic spot and brought the situation under control. Police have started an investigation into the whole incident.
