Malda, 19th February: People of the Mahadipur region under English Bazar block, are very happy with the commencement of the construction of a paved road in the area.
On Wednesday, the work was inaugurated by the English Bazar Panchayat Samiti President Lipika Barman Ghosh and District-in-Council Educational staff Pratibha Singh. Sweets were also distributed to the villagers during the inaugural event.
In this regard, Pratibha Singh stated that an amount of 10 lakh rupees has been allocated for the construction work of the road which will be 185 meters long and 385 meters broad.
