Rajganj, 29th March: Despite the nation-wide lockdown, huge crowds were sighted in the Rajganj market on Sunday morning. As per the report, the people are also not maintaining social distance (a minimum of 1 m) and are in close contact with each other.
In this context, BDO NC Sherpa, Rajganj Police Station CI Dipajjal Bhowmick and Rajganj Police station OC Kesang Lama held a discussion with the Haat Committee and decided to shift the Haat Bazaar to the Sree Sangha Club grounds.
CI Dipajjal Bhowmick stated that the shopkeepers and customers have been instructed to maintain adequate distance while selling and hoarding commodities.
