Rajganj, 16th June: Due to heavy rainfall for the past few days, the dilapidated roads in Fulbari – Ghoshpukur bypass area are lying in a pitiful condition. A large number of vehicles ply through this route which risks the lives of many.
The locals alleged that despite reporting the matter to the administration several times, no solution has been provided yet.
The truck drivers alleged that despite the toll tax is collected in Fulbari, no initiatives have been taken to repair the roads so far. The paved road is lying in a deplorable condition due to the lack of maintenance and repair. As a result, frequent accidents have become common. They further expressed outrage over the fact that during monsoons, water gets accumulated up to the knees and the pedestrians face a lot of difficulties.
