Siliguri, 29th May: Due to the nation-wide lockdown, shortage of blood is being witnessed across the state. In this regard, the Panitanki Traffic Guard and Federation of Blood donor organization, on Friday, organized a blood donation camp at Siliguri MG Chowk (Airview More).
The traffic police officials and many other people donated blood in the camp today. ADCP Jaspreet Singh, Panitanki Traffic guard OC Swapan Roy were present during the programme. All the blood donors were later felicitated with flowers.
The collected blood will be sent to the blood bank of Siliguri District Hospital.
