Kharibari, 30th March: The members of Lions Club distributed dry ration among the poor families residing in the Panitanki area near the Indo-Nepal border of Kharibariblock.
Panitanki Lions Club President Mohammad Rustam Ali, Secretary Santosh Singh, Ashutosh Barman, Rajesh Das, Varun Das, Muktinath Roy, Hariman Barman, Rajiv Roy, Pankaj Poddar and others members were present during the occasion.
Addressing the media, Secretary Santosh Singh stated that the lockdown has made a huge economic impact on poor families. In view of this, dry rations have been distributed among 60 poor families in the area, today. All the families were given 5 kg rice, 2 kg potato, 2 kg cabbage, 1 kg salt.
