Fulbari, 19th September: A horrifying incident unfolded where an individual sustained critical injuries in a head-on collision between a bicycle and a scooter. The incident occurred on Monday night in the Laxmi Jote area of Ambari Canal Road in Fulbari. The injured has been identified as Gopal, a resident of Chhota Nawapara.
According to reports, the individual was riding a bicycle back home from Fulbari when a scooter travelling from the opposite direction rammed into the bicycle in the Laxmi Jote area. As a result, the bicycle rider sustained severe injuries.
Following the incident, the locals and police from the Canal Road Traffic Outpost assisted in the rescue of the injured individual and transported him to a hospital in Fulbari. Meanwhile, the authorities of the New Jalpaiguri (NJP) Police Station arrived at the scene and retrieved the two-wheeler and the bicycle. The entire incident is under further police investigation.
