Phansidewa, 10th March: A tokay gecko was rescued in a joint operation by the 41st Battalion of SSB and Ghoshpukur Forest Department.
A smuggler, identified as Nityananda Shil of Phansidewa was arrested in the incident. The arrested accused was taken to Siliguri sub-divisional court on Thursday.
