Phansidewa, 10th January: The officials of the Phansidewa police station arrested an individual from the Chathat area of the Phansidewa block for allegedly stealing a scooty. The arrested accused has been identified as Mohammad Sahni, a resident of Paschim Dhantala in Fulbari.
As per reports, the Phansidewa police were alerted of two individuals riding a stolen scooty in the Chathat area. One of the accused managed to escape the authorities while Mohammad Sahni was successfully arrested.
On Wednesday, the accused was produced before the Siliguri Court. Meanwhile, the police are conducting a detailed investigation into other suspects involved in the criminal activity.
