Cooch Behar, 19th January: In a recent development, the officials of the Pundibari police station located in Cooch Behar arrested an individual with several stolen gadgets. Significantly, the police recovered 23 laptops, 6 tablets, and 10 cell phones from the arrested accused Sanjay Das.
It is to be noted that on Friday, the Cooch Behar District Superintendent of Police Dutiman Bhattacharya held a press conference on this matter. As per details gathered, on Thursday night, the police launched an investigation based on a tip-off and apprehended the accused from the area under the jurisdiction of the Pundibari police station in Cooch Behar.
Reportedly, the devices were stolen from different parts of the country. The case will be forwarded to the court and the arrested accused will be taken on police remand. At present, the matter is under further investigation.
