Siliguri, 22nd March: The Siliguri Metropolitan Police have been launching numerous campaigns under the ‘Safe Drive Save Life’ drive to reduce road accidents in the city. Likewise, special traffic arrangements were made amid the Holi celebrations in Siliguri. As a result, not a single case of road accident was registered in Siliguri during the festival.
On Tuesday, Traffic DCP Abhishek Gupta said, “..not a single road accident took place in Siliguri during Holi this year due to continuous police patrolling on the main roads. The speed of vehicles was kept under control through barricades.”
