Siliguri, 01st June: The NJP police arrested two men with illegal intoxicants. The arrested accused have been identified as Dev Kumar Das and Anil Mahato. They are residents of Paschim Dhantala and Matigara.
On Monday night, the NJP police, based on a tip-off, launched operations at the Goramore area under NJP police station and arrested the duo with illegal intoxicants worth 70 thousand rupees.
According to police sources, Dev Kumar Das had been involved in such illegal activities for a long time. The arrested individuals were produced at Jalpaiguri court today.
