Siliguri, 13th November: Several motorbike thieveries from the parking lot of NJP police station premises had been surfacing. While the police were on high alert, another such episode took place from the said parking lot on November 06.
The owner of the bike, Devvrat Saha, a resident of the SMC’s Ward 36, lodged a complaint in this regard at the NJP police station. Based on which, the police arrested a person identified as Vijay Saha in connection to the incident. However, the police are yet to recover the stolen bike. The accused was produced in the Jalpaiguri court today.
