Siliguri, 03rd December: The waste management project has commenced in all the wards of Siliguri. In order to implement the said project, 15 additional Nirmal Bandhu and Nirmal Saathi workers have been appointed in Siliguri’s Ward No. 32.
The said project was launched by famous footballer Manjeet Singh. In this regard, Ward Councilor Tapas Chatterjee said that the ward is extremely big and they were facing issues in implementing the said project. Therefore, on the initiative of Mayor Goutam Deb, 15 additional workers were appointed. He further stated that he is hopeful that his ward will set an example of transparency in the coming days through the appointment of personnel.
