Siliguri, 28th November: Nikhil Banga Shikshak Samiti joined the movement in support of several demands including dearness allowance. The members of the committee held a meeting on SF Road and commenced the said rally but were stopped by a huge police corps on Burdwan Road. Later, a delegation of some members of the organization went to Uttar Kanya and handed over a demand letter.
In this regard, State Vice President of ABPT, Biplab Jha said that they will continue to protest against the state government if the state does not provide dearness allowance soon.
