Nikhil Banga Prathamik Shikshak Samiti extends support to families affected by political conflicts during Panchayat poll in Rajganj

Rajganj, 20th August: The Nikhil Banga Prathamik Shikshak Samiti made a valiant attempt to reach out to the families who were adversely affected by the political unrest in the Jummagach booth in Rajganj during the Panchayat election. On Sunday, six families were provided with free tin sheds to build homes, and an ill woman received financial assistance for medical treatment.  


Notably, political brawls surfaced at the Jummagach booth of the Sannyasikata Gram Panchayat in Rajganj during the Panchayat election. Reportedly, several residences of the Left party had been broken into and vandalized. In efforts to support the affected, the organization provided assistance to the affected families in the presence of the organization’s state President Mohandas Pandit, Vice-president Biplab Jha, Secretary Dhrubashekhar Mandal, Treasurer Krishnendu Roy Chowdhury, and Rajganj block leaders.

In this regard, Jalpaiguri district Secretary of the All Bengal Primary Teacher’s Association (ABPTA) and vice-president of the state committee, Biplab Jha responded that the homes of numerous CPI (M) supporters and workers were sabotaged on the day of the rural election, for which, the families were provided with food items. Further, he stated that the organization of legal practitioners also stood in support. He added that the state committee of ABPTA provided building materials for certain families and financial aid to one.
