Siliguri, 12th August: A new committee of the TMC Refugee Cell was formed today. Deepak Shil and Bimal Sarkar have been appointed as the chairman and president of the newly formed committee respectively.
The formation of the new committee was announced during a meeting in Siliguri Kanchenjunga Stadium in the presence of TMC leader Ranjan Sarkar.
Since the citizenship law had the greatest impact on the refugees, the members of the committee will visit the remote villages in all the districts across the state and run awareness programs.
