NBMCH confirms first COVID-19 positive case of North Bengal, patient a resident of Kalimpong

Siliguri, 28th March: First positive case of COVID-19 of North Bengal was confirmed by the North Bengal Medical College and Hospital, today, after a test report of a suspected victim came back positive.


As per the hospital sources, the patient is a resident of Kalimpong District who has a travel history to another state within the country. After the woman showed some symptoms of the coronavirus, she was admitted to the NBMCH and was kept in the isolation ward. With this, the COVID-19 positive cases in the state rises to 18.

    Are you aware that this is the confirmed case of Covid-19, meaning, the patient has been tested positive for the covid-19?

    Do not spread information you are not aware of, do you even care about the true journalism sprit?
