Bagdogra, 27th February: Yuvraj Mishra, a first-year medical student and a resident of Naxalbari, safely returned home from Ukraine. He thanked the Indian Embassy for their constant support. His family members and Siliguri SDO Srinivas Venkatarao Patil welcomed Yuvraj at the airport today.
Addressing the media at the airport, Yuvraj said that the Indian embassy has not been able to communicate with students from other universities. He requested their safe return.
In this regard, SDO Srinivas Venkatarao Patil said ” The state government had made all arrangements for Yuvraj’s safe return from Delhi to Bagdogra. However, we do not have proper information on how many more people are stranded.”
