Siliguri, 25th August: The members of the Muslim community held candles and carried out a rally from Champasari Jama Masjid located in Ward No 45 of the Siliguri Municipal Corporation (SMC). The rally was aimed at demanding justice for the minor girl brutally killed in Siliguri.
During the rally, the members gave a message that a committer of a crime is a criminal, and criminals have no caste or religion. They added that the accused involved in the murder should be awarded a death sentence. Furthermore, they urged the administration for a stringent punishment for the accused.
