Siliguri, 27th May: In response to the critical condition of a young girl suffering from kidney failure, Member of Parliament (MP) Raju Bista made a visit to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH) to extend his support. The MP, who was attending a program in Naxalbari on Saturday morning, was informed by concerned villagers about the plight of Khushi Barman, a resident of the area, whose family was unable to afford her necessary treatment.
Promptly responding to the distressing news, MP Raju Bista first visited Khushi’s residence in Rathkhola, Naxalbari, before proceeding to the NBMCH. There, he met with Khushi, her family, the attending physician, and the hospital superintendent to gain a comprehensive understanding of the patient’s medical condition.
Expressing his commitment to ensuring the best possible care, MP Raju Bista assured that all necessary arrangements for Khushi’s treatment would be made and his office would extend all possible assistance to facilitate the girl’s recovery.
