Rajganj, 04th July: In Rajganj, more than 100 activists left the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and other parties and joined the Trinamool Congress (TMC).
On Sunday, several women and members of the Genius Club of Skulpara village in Sukhani gram panchayat of Rajganj block joined TMC under the leadership of Rajganj MLA Khageshwar Roy.
In this regard, Rajganj MLA Khageshwar Roy said, “Seeing the developmental work done by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, hundreds of people from Sukani Gram Panchayat joined TMC. This further increased the strength of our party.”
Sheikh Omar Farooq, Arindam Banerjee, Laikkha Mohan Roy, and many others were present at the programme.
