MLA Khageswar Roy inaugurates six food courts in Gajoldoba to boost tourism and local livelihood

Gajoldoba, 26th June: Six newly constructed food courts were inaugurated in Gajoldoba on Thursday under the initiative of the Gajoldoba Development Authority (GDA). The keys were formally handed over by GDA Vice Chairman and Rajganj MLA Khageswar Roy.


The food stalls, located in the area under Kranti Block near the Gajoldoba Bridge, were built at a cost of approximately ₹90 lakh. Six beneficiaries, selected through a lottery, received the stalls aimed at promoting tourism and supporting local livelihoods.

MLA Khageswar Roy highlighted that the initiative not only creates earning opportunities for local residents but also enhances the experience for tourists visiting Gajoldoba with a variety of food options.


Malbazar Magistrate Shubham Kundal, along with social workers Arindam Banerjee, Lalit Roy, Subrata Biswas, and others were present during the event.
