Siliguri, 16th March: The teen, who had been missing for the past 12 days, has finally been rescued from Fulbari. An individual has also been arrested in connection with the incident. The accused individual was presented in the Jalpaiguri District court, today.
According to sources, the family members of the teen girl alleged that a local resident named Mansood Ali was involved in the incident. The family members, later, lodged a written complaint against Ali at the NJP Police station.
The police launched a campaign, on Sunday, and rescued the girl from Fulbari and arrested Mansood Ali. The girl was sent to the North Bengal Medical College-Hospital for a health check-up, on Monday.
