Bagdogra, 07th June: In a tragic incident, a toto (e-rickshaw) met with an accident in Bihar More, Bagdogra. Five persons were injured in the incident.
According to reports, the speeding toto, carrying five passengers, overturned in the said area, resulting in severe injury to all the passengers.
After the incident, the locals and Bagdogra traffic police rescued the injured and took them to Bagdogra Hospital. Later, three passengers, out of the five, were referred to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital. Meanwhile, police seized the toto and took the driver into custody, and initiated an investigation into the matter.
