Siliguri, 29th August: While heavy rain lashed Siliguri on Thursday late night, a group of miscreants attempted to loot an ATM located at Samar Nagar Battala under Pradhan Nagar police station area. The CCTV footage of a nearby house came to light within 48 hours of the incident.
Incidentally, the miscreants tried to rob an ATM in the Samarnagar-Battala area under the Pradhannagar police station last Thursday night. This matter came to the notice of the locals on Friday morning. Following which, the incident was reported to Pradhannagar police.
The failed attempt to rob the ATM was seen in the footage. They were found running away with the ATM screen and DVDR of the CCTV footage.
The Pradhan Nagar police launched an investigation into the incident.
