Siliguri, 01st April: An alarming incident of snatching occurred in broad daylight which raised concerns regarding the safety of the passengers arriving at Siliguri Junction NBSTC bus stand.
As per details received, on Monday morning, Dolly Das, a resident of Cooch Behar arrived at Siliguri by NBSTC bus for her mother’s eye treatment in Nepal. Upon her arrival at the Junction bus stand, a miscreant allegedly snatched her mobile phone and fled from the scene. After the incident, Dolly lodged a complaint at the Siliguri police station.
In this regard, Dolly stated that she resides in Cooch Behar and her mother’s residence is in Fulbari. She added that after arriving at the bus stand, her mobile phone was snatched.
