Cooch Behar, 16th September: The North Bengal Development Minister Udayan Guha met with the advocates at Cooch Behar Bar Association. Earlier this month, Minister of State for Home Affairs Nisith Pramanik also met with the advocates.
As per reports, on Saturday afternoon, Minister Udayan Guha visited the association, spoke to the lawyers, and assured them of solving the issues after listening to their problems.
It has to be noted that, prior to the Lok Sabha elections, two ministers met the Bar Association members. However, Minister Udayan Guha did not comment on the matter.
In this regard, Udayan Guha stated that it was pre-decided that he would come to visit the association. He added that there was a seating issue which will be rectified by the North Bengal Development Department.
