Rajganj, 27th May: State Tourism Minister Goutam Deb inaugurated the construction work of a 2.6 km paved road in Fulbari. Reportedly, the road is to be constructed under the Bangla Gramin Sadak Yojana scheme.
As per the information, the road will be constructed from the checkpost of Siliguri-Jalpaiguri National Highway up to Kanchanbari Main Canal Road. The work will be completed under the supervision of the Jalpaiguri District Council at a cost of Rs. 2.62 crores.
In this context, the Minister stated that all the construction work will be done by the local laborers following the government protocols and maintaining social distance. The cited agency has been asked to complete the work within 6 months.
