Minister Goutam Deb held a meeting with officials of various departments in Gajoldoba

Rajganj, 14th August: As work in Gajoldoba’s ‘Bhorer Alo’ has been suspended due to the ongoing pandemic and lockdown, the State Tourism Minister Goutam Deb, on Friday, held a meeting at Gajoldoba’s Hawa Mahal along with officials of various departments concerning the improvement of work pace.


       

After the meeting, the Minister stated that separate SDO offices are being set up at Bhorer Alo for health care, police station, boating, and orchid park. However, plans concerning the golf course have been suspended as of now. A bird zone will be set up by building an artificial forest using the Miyawaki method. Work is underway to build 20 cottages, out of which five have already been completed.


He further added that around 26 underground cottages will be built in Bhorer Alo soon. Various plans are being made to decorate the spot.

Apart from the administrative officials, health department members, police, power department, irrigation department, forest department, PHE, and Public Works Department (PWD) officials were present during the meeting.
