Siliguri, 11th August: Several Congress, Trinamool, and Left leaders were present today at the memorial service of the late Provincial Congress President Somen Mitra and Congress leader Uday Dubey.
TMC Core Committee Chairman Goutam Deb and Leftist leader Jibesh Sarkar were present during the programme. A tribute was paid by laying a wreath at their portraits and a minute of silence was observed in their memory.
At the memorial gathering, Minister Goutam Deb paid homage to the two leaders and highlighted various aspects of their political relationship.
