Memorandum issued to Police Commissioner on behalf of Bidhan Market Vyavasayee Samiti

Siliguri, 01st April: The Traffic Department of Siliguri Metropolitan Police has adopted several steps to avoid road accidents. Traffic barricades have been set up on empty dividers in the busiest places of the city to prevent accidents.


The Panitanki Traffic Guard has also barricaded the empty dividers near Bidhan Market. As a result, people coming to the market are facing various problems. To solve this problem, members of Bidhan Market Vyavasayee Samiti went to Siliguri Police Commissionerate and handed over a memorandum to the commissioner demanding the opening of traffic barricades.

In this regard, Bapi Saha, secretary of Bidhan Market Vyavasayee Samiti, said that at present, two dividers have been barricaded in Bidhan Market on behalf of the traffic department. A memorandum was issued to Siliguri Police Commissioner Gaurav Sharma to resolve the issue.
