Memorandum issued on behalf of Panitanki Vyavasayee Samiti demanding re-opening of Indo-Nepal border

Panitanki, 29th September: Communication from Panitanki on the Indo-Nepal border to Nepal is closed for a long time due to the COVID 19 pandemic.

The border is not being re-opened for the common people even though freight trucks have started plying. As a result, around 2,000 traders in the border area are living in crisis. The Panitanki Vyavasayee Samiti handed over a memorandum to the 41st Battalion on Wednesday demanding re-opening of the border soon.

In this regard, Ramkumar Chhetri said that the people of both countries have different needs but SSB is intervening. Toto-auto drivers, businessmen, and common people are facing difficulties.
